As of yesterday, we had not yet received your payment.

For today, we take all the payments that have come in for the day, and then they all need to be opened, processed and entered into the computer system before we even know that we have received your payment. That’s why we tell everyone that “we will contact you within 1 business day or less.”

If we received it today, then we will contact you later on this evening when all payments for the day have been processed and entered into the system. If we do not contact you, then it means that your payment did not come in today.
